DIY Wood Arrows

I saw some arrows on a website and decided to recreate them myself. I luckily already had the wood on hand so it didn't cost me anything. But if you need to go out and buy wood it will only cost you about $2.

I used a cedar fence post to make my arrows. I like using this wood because it gives it a rustic feel.
So first you'll want to cut your wood to the length you want your arrows to be, I did 12" for mine. Then you will want to cut a smaller piece to make the point at the bottom and then a slightly bigger piece to make the arrow at the top. I did my bottom pieces about 1" wide and the top about 5".

Next comes the angles. I did the bottoms at a 45 degree angle and the triangle for the top I did at a 30 degree angle. The picture below will give you a better idea of what I mean.

Next you'll want to put them together. I used my brad nailer for this but you could also just use wood glue if that's all you have.

And lastly, you'll want to paint them a color to match your room and hang them up! They look so cute and can match any room in the house!
